Title 1 About the Winery
Content 1

Ramón Ramos is located in Venialbo, in the province of Zamora. They still conserve the “ancient cellar” carved centuries ago by hand that maintains always the wines at the right constant temperature. Modern machinery is also available in order to treat the wines the best way possible. Elaboration and malolactic fermentation takes place in concrete tanks under temperature controlled.

This Winery owns 60 hectares of vineyards of Tinta de Toro grape, small grain Moscatel and Malvasia. They also purchase grapes from growers that their ancestors used to buy from…. who have been with the winery since its foundation. The vineyards are located between 605 and 700 m high, on poor sandy soils and with a wide range of age that varies from 25 years old for the younger vineyards and up to 120 year old prefiloxerics for wines with ageing, they are the first protagonist of all their wines.
