This wine has a dark cherry-garnet colour with a lively, violet rim. On the nose, the aromas are intense, fresh, clean and fruity, with floral, blackcurrant and milk hints. On the palate, it is harmonious, medium-bodied, offering a perfect balance between tannins, freshness and acidity. It is long in the mouth, with a lingering finish and some sweet, fruity hints in the aftertaste

Title 1 | About The Winery |
Content 1 | Built in a "chateau" style, this winery belongs to an exclusively family limited liability company, Bodegas Altos del Marqués S.L., and it´s located in its own vineyards on the outskirts of Logroño. |
Title 2 | Winemaking |
Content 2 | In the barrel cellar there lie 900 French and American oak barrels with a capacity of 225 litres each. One third of the barrels is renewed every year, so there is always a third which is brand new, another third which is one year old, being the remaining third two years old. Once the ageing is barrels is over, the wine is bottled and stored in metal crates for a perfect balance between fruit and oak. Both the barrel and the bottle cellars are air-conditioned for a perfect control of temperature. |
